Employee Assistance
What Is The Employee Assistance Program (Eap)?
The EAP is a confidential information, counselling and referral service for licensed Owners, Trainers, Assistant Trainers, Exercise Riders, Grooms and Hotwalkers (and their immediate family: spouse and dependent children up to age 25).
The program provides you with direct access to experienced professional support, to help you resolve your concerns before they affect your health, family life or job performance.
Who Provides The Service?
The service is provided by Robin Lloyd, MSW, RSW. Appointments are available in person or by phone Monday – Friday. Robin is on site at the backstretch at Woodbine Race Track on Tuesdays 10:00am to 12:00pm.

What Kinds Of Issues Does The Eap Deal With?
Confidential assistance is available for a broad range of personal and work-related concerns, such as:
- Personal and/or job stress
- Relationship Issues
- Addictions
- Harassment
- Grief and Loss, Anger or Anxiety
- Balancing Work and Family Needs/Parenting
- Financial or legal
If you require longer term support or specialized counselling a referral will be provided.
Confidentiality
Sessions are strictly confidential. Your information will not be released to anyone without your prior written consent, except where legally required.
