Woodbine Potential Supplemental Race Cards

Attention Horse People,
As expressed in the email communication yesterday, Woodbine is closely following the date of a Stage 1 re-opening plan for Ontario. We are sending this letter in an attempt to give trainers as much advance notice as possible to be prepared for the following scenarios of supplemental race dates:


If the province moves into Stage 1 of re-opening earlier than expected, we will release Supplemental Race cards for Saturday, June 12 and Sunday, June 13. Entry date of Wednesday, June 9 and Thursday, June 10.


If the province moves into Stage 1 on the previously announced date of Monday, June 14 we will offer a card of racing on Monday, June 14. We will only race Monday if there is no racing Saturday or Sunday.


We are preparing for all scenarios to be sure that we can draw a card as soon as possible. Also it is important for trainers to be able to prepare training schedules and plan any shipping arrangements.


Book 1 will remain unchanged by any of the supplemental race cards than may come in advance of Friday, June 18.


Below is a listing of races that will definitely be offered on any of the supplemental days listed above, so that trainers can prepare as best as possible. If we are racing June 12 AND June 13, we will add additional races.

We are anticipating that supplemental condition sheets will be released on Monday, June 7, immediately following a decision on a firm opening day.
